A Free Stuff area is open this site now. Its first edition free thing is a very nice Spanish based building with and interior , 2 floors, and windows that you can actually see through. Also you can now download the normal maps for it.
The rate for Modeling/Texturing lessons have bin lowered to 15$ every hour.

I'm offering 3d modeling/texturing lessons. My rate is $15 every hour. The lessons are mostly aimed towards beginners and anyone having a hard time picking up 3d modeling or texturing. Anyone who is not strong in any of these areas can befit from a lesson. The programs used are Wings 3d and Photoshop.

Come one come all to the new RuneScape HD. RuneScape HD is exactly the same as Runescape 2 but it has much better graphic and fullscreen mode for members only. It has hardware accelerated graphics including dynamic lighting and shadows, higher detailed textures, and enhanced water effects are the big things. Runescape HD does require higher system requirements than previous versions but most if not all computers today should be able to run it. They are still allowing you to use the older Runescape 2 client base. Oh by the way HD stands for High Detail.
Have any of you heard of sayswap? Its a game swapping web site which allows you to swap your older game and get newer ones. If you don't want to dish out 50-60 bucks for new games that you are going to stop playing in a week then you might be interested in sayswap. The way it works is that every game has a amount of purchase points. So when you send out a game to someone and that game is worth 40 purchase points then those points go to you and are taken from the guy getting the game. Now you can go and pick out a game that you want. There is one trick though for a trade to take place the person getting the game must give up a trading token. Trading tokens cost around 5 dollars and you get discounts when you buy more than one at a time. Its a great service, I have already gotten 3 games from it.
The last thing for today is that Assassins creed is a good game but the only thing that keeps you playing after your done killing guards and jumping off rooftops is the story line. I tried playing it today and I couldn't because I already beat it.

Today I am talking about "LightBox2" [Lightbox2 is backwards compatible with Lightbox1]. If you already know about Lightbox2 skip to the next paragraph ;-) . Well Lightbox is a very nice picture viewing feature for your web site, yes it is free. Basically in a nut shell "Lightbox JS is a simple, unobtrusive script used to overlay images on the current page. It's a snap to setup and works on all modern browsers." I even use it on this web site your reading right now, just click on one of the thumbnails below of a picture or head over to my portfolio to see it in action. You can customize it to fit your web site theme or keep the default theme.
As you might of already have known many people have made modifications to the original lightbox. One of which is LightBox Gone Wild . Its a modification that allows you to display text instead of a picture. just go to the link provided , I'll show you a demonstration, download and how to install it.
Now for "Battlefield Heroes"! Battlefield Heroes is going to be a Play 4 Free cartoon-style shooter. Thats right Play 4 Free, its a completely free commercial quality game. Everything about it is free there's no hoax here guys. EA is most likely going to make money off of it from advertisements and of course they wont mind all the press possibly talking about it. Then they will have millions of kids thinking how great EA games is so why don't I buy one of their games. Well the game looks great from what I can see, that's right its not out yet. Its suppose to be out for download this Summer. My summer is ending in about a month....hope its out before then......There are Abilities and Classes, Vehicles, 1+ Maps, Character Customization, Explosives, and tons of fun is a guarantee
Oh and just to have this documented I have promised UUICEO that I will make a fully 3d Modeling, Texturing, and Rendering Tutorial (The full package on how I do it) after I make my first game or finish the Unreal Contest.

Looks like the new Wall-E games sucks. I played the demo and the first level was a breeze then comes the 2nd level and boy was it hard, or I was tired. I kept getting killed and then I got stuck because I didn't know the action key was "E". The controls do no match ones for current games today. Its a good game and all but its so easy that its boring.
Now for a useful tip in 3ds Max (yea most tips will be for 3ds Max since I use it). Have you seen those renders that are all white and have nice shadows and shades. Well this rendering technique is called "Light Tracer". To set up a Light Tracer Render first put a skylight in your scene. Then go to Render>Render>Advanced Lighting or F10>Advanced Lighting. Next in the Drop down box for "Select Advanced Lighting" select Light Tracer. There are various settings below that you could mess around with but really there's only two setting that need to be change to increase the quality of the light tracer render. These Setting are "Ray/Samples" and "Bounces" as you increase the values in both of these settings the quality of the render will increase and the time to render will increase.
Next we have a guy called Jhon. He's a Animator/Modeler and always says that "Animation is like making love. Although it takes a little long the end result makes you feel so good". Lastly I have finished the exterior of my Spanish based building, there is still and nice interior to do - that's why the doors are opened

For you 3ds Max users I found a nice tip for your renders that you might like. Its located in the "Render" Tab of your Render Window(F10 to bring up the Render Window). Go down to Antialiasing area and check "Antialiasing" and then check "FilterMaps". Then from the FilterMap drop down to your right select "catmull-rom". Wa-La now click render.
In other news a new model is comming along, almost done with the exterior - just need to fix some stuff here and there and then we go to the inside and ponder how that will look. Oh gota make normal maps and maybe a spec for the bottoms of the supports. Ok render just finished rendering....here it is...hmmm little dark...looks better if you squint a-little.

Good Morning Vietnam, just a news flash for those of you who don't have crazy bump already and don't want to spend some hundred or more bucks on it. There is a program called ShaderMap which is like Crazy bump but without true viewing of the maps in realtime. It has many useful features and can I can say to a point that its better than crazy bump just because of the low price, only 20 bucks and a commercial License comes with that.
Also they have a free Version called ShaderMapCL, which has 4 basic functions and is basically the base of the pro version. All in all it just has less functionality and features but still something you should check out if ya don't want to pay hundreds for crazy bump.

Well looks like I got a new place to type. Today marks the new day dynasty of this new web site look feel and functionality. I'm still setting everything up but as you can see it's coming along nicely. This section that you are ready will most likely be my blog - were I will post numerous dictatorial speeches on life liberty and property to consume the masses brains.
